    railindustryawardRemote Reporting Fuel Level Guage

Rubirail are pleased to announce that at the above even on 26th June 2015 the remote reporting fuel level gauge (see case studies) was highly commended in the small scale projects category.

For further information on how you might benefit from remote reporting of fuel volume, coolant levels, critical temperatures or anything else from your rail vehicle please contact us.

The announcement last week of the Governments preferred route for the proposed High Speed 2 line from London to Birmingham and them on to Manchester, Leeds and the North has generated much column inches with the main political parties bickering over the detail of the plans and whether Heathrow should be included on the route.

Rubirail has just completed one of its most enjoyable (and different) projects.

Rubirail were tasked with the procurement and external refurbishment of two replacement coaches for the preserved Old Station at Tintern which is owned and managed by Monmouthshire County Council.  Our client for the project was  the Overlooking the Wye Scheme which is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and managed through the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Partnership.

There has been little advance publicity but are you aware that on 1st January 2011 the good old “red diesel” that has powered the railway for 2 generations will cease to exist.

We have had a “makeover!”  Rubirail is proud to reveal its new corporate image and logo as showcased on our new website.

Over the next weeks our clients will see the new image rolled out into our standard operating documentation – report formats, review documentation, risk assessments, strip reports and other paperwork.

    We hope you like it.
